Job Responsibilities:

As a CHHA, you will play a vital role in enhancing our patients' quality of life. Your responsibilities include:
Assisting patients with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility.
Monitoring and recording vital signs, such as temperature, pulse, and respiration, as directed by the care plan.
Providing light housekeeping and meal preparation to ensure a safe and comfortable home environment if needed.
Assisting with medication reminders and ensuring patients adhere to their care plans.
Offering companionship and emotional support to promote mental and emotional well-being.
Reporting changes in patients' condition or environment to the supervising nurse or care coordinator promptly.
Ensuring compliance with infection control and safety standards.

Qualifications:

Must hold a valid CHHA certification in the state of California.
At least 1 year of experience as a CHHA, preferably in home health care.
Reliable transportation to see patients in Santa Monica and Marina del Rey areas.
Excellent communication skills and a compassionate demeanor.
Ability to work independently and follow detailed care plans.
