Central Washington University is recruiting a Grounds & Nursery Services Specialist 3 to join our Grounds Maintenance & Shop team in Ellensburg, Washington. This role is an important member of our team as they enhance the vision for the University. The role is a campus-based position, which means you get to see the lives you are impacting.
This position is responsible for the maintenance of the campus landscape including, but not limited to: vegetation management, tree, shrub and turf care; installation of new landscape and/or renovation projects; irrigation systems, service drive and parking lot maintenance; snow and ice removal; and the operation and general maintenance of equipment used during ground maintenance operations. Work is performed professionally and efficiently, incorporating both personal integrity and mutual respect. All employees are expected to support CWU’s commitment to diversity and to bring and support inclusion into the university environment.
Salary: $3,167 /month with periodic increases up to $4,194 /month
Schedule/Appointment: Generally, M-F 6am to 2:30pm (1/2-hour lunch) / Schedule may vary depending on department need / WFSE Bargaining Unit 1
