SummaryThe primary purpose of this position is the engineering and pricing of steel structures available under the Poligon and CEAS+ brands.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities- Capable of performing all responsibilities listed in the Structural Designer job description
- Collaborating with the design community
- Define project scopes
- Research and communicate project-specific technical solutions
- Set realistic expectations and project timelines
- Communicating with local sales reps; answering questions and providing questions as required
- Reviewing work of less experienced engineers and providing constructive feedback
- Working with other departments to improve internal processes
- Perform other related duties as required

Education and/or Experience- Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering from an ABET accredited university
- 2 years (minimum) experience in structural engineering
- E.I.T. designation
TravelThis position requires minimal to no travel
Computer Skills- Demonstrated proficiency with MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Access
- Demonstrated proficiency using EPICOR ERP or similar systems
Other Requirements- Familiarity with structural analysis software
- Demonstrated ability in MS Office, with excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Knowledge of engineering principles and product development techniques and processes
- Originality and judgement in the independent evaluation of new applications and products
- Familiarity with major building codes in the United States and their applications
