We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Human Resources Generalist to join our team in Greenville, South Carolina. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing various HR functions, including recruitment, employee relations, performance management, and compliance with labor laws. This role requires a proactive individual with excellent communication and organizational skills.
Requirements
- Administer day-to-day HR activities, including employee onboarding, offboarding, and maintaining employee records.
- Coordinate with local candidates and recruiting firms to ensure a smooth interview process.
- Serve as HR point-of-contact for the facility, identifying where issues should be directed.
- Provide guidance and support to employees on HR policies, procedures, and benefits.
- Act as a liaison between on-site employees and other non-local branches of HR specialty, being a first line of communication for HR questions.
- Handle employee relations issues, including conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, and performance improvement plans.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
- Partner with management to assist with performance-related issues.
- Act as a champion of company culture and engagement, participating in the planning and execution of directives that drive high engagement.
- Assist in the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures.
- Conduct training sessions and workshops on various HR topics.
- Support the performance management process, including goal setting, performance reviews, and development plans.
- Participate in HR projects and initiatives to improve employee engagement and organizational effectiveness.
Qualifications:- 3-6 years of experience in a Human Resources role.
- Strong knowledge of HR principles, practices, and employment laws.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
- Aptitude to create process improvements.
- Proficiency in HR software and Microsoft Office Suite. Paylocity Experience highly preferred.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- SHRM-CP or PHR certification is a plus.
