Position: Sit Down Forklift Operator
City: Rialto, CA
Range of Pay: $17.75 to $19.75
Shift: 1st, 2nd and 3rd shift – hours are;
• 1st Shift - M-F 4am – 1:30pm - Must be able to work overtime
• 2nd Shift - M-F 12:30pm – 9pm - Must be able to work overtime
• 3rd Shift - Sun – Thursday 4pm – 12:30am - Must be able to work overtime

Job Summary:
The Sit-Down Forklift Operator is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of forklifts to move Beverage and other materials within the warehouse. This role supports the receiving, stocking, and shipping of products, ensuring timely and accurate order fulfillment while maintaining a clean and organized warehouse environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Operate sit down forklifts and other powered equipment (e.g., pallet jacks) to load, unload, move, stack, and stage product and Beverage.
• Perform daily equipment inspections to ensure safe operations.
• Assist with receiving, unloading, and stocking products in designated areas.
• Pull and prepare products for shipment, ensuring that the correct quantity and quality of product is loaded and ready for transport.
• Maintain accurate records of product movement and inventory within the warehouse management system (WMS).
• Follow safety guidelines and procedures to ensure a safe working environment, including the proper handling of products and materials.
• Support general warehouse operations, including organizing, cleaning, and maintaining an orderly work area.
• Collaborate with team members to meet daily operational goals and improve overall efficiency.
• Participate in inventory cycle counts and other inventory management activities as needed.
• Assist in loading and unloading delivery trucks.
Qualifications:
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid forklift certification (or ability to obtain certification upon hire).
• 2-3 years of experience operating forklifts in a warehouse or distribution center environment preferred.
• Knowledge of warehouse safety practices and procedures.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in a physically demanding role.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays, as needed.
