Job Summary:
The Field Delivery Merchandiser is responsible for delivering and stocking products at client locations, ensuring that products are displayed in an organized and efficient manner. This role involves managing inventory on-site, providing excellent customer service, and maintaining product freshness to support the company's operations and client satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
Product Delivery & Stocking:
Deliver products accurately and efficiently to client locations.
Stock products in an organized manner, ensuring shelves, fridges, and displays are well-presented.
Rotate stock to adhere to "best by" dates and ensure product freshness.
Inventory Management:
Monitor and manage inventory levels during deliveries, adjusting as necessary.
Restock products as required, ensuring inventory accuracy.
Assist in maintaining inventory records and coordinating any product shortages.
Customer Service:
Communicate with clients to ensure satisfaction and address minor service issues.
Serve as the company's representative to address client concerns and requests.
Operational Efficiency & Safety:
Follow delivery schedules and routes to maximize efficiency.
Maintain a safe working environment, ensuring compliance with safety standards.
Handle all products and equipment with care to prevent damage.
Additional Duties:
Keep delivery vehicles organized and ensure safe transport of products.
Assist with loading and unloading products as needed.
Report any vehicle or product issues to the supervisor promptly.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
Experience: Experience in delivery, merchandising, or a similar field preferred.
Skills:
Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and performing repetitive tasks.
Excellent customer service and communication skills.
Requirements:
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
Ability to work independently and follow instructions.
