We are looking for skilled acrylic painters to lead local paint and sip parties in Orange County. Do you enjoy art and sharing your love for art with others? Do you love Bob Ross? This is the perfect opportunity to share art in the community while improving your own art making practice.
We are always adding new locations within Orange County area ONLY. Please Local Artists only (local to Orange County).
Job description: Leads guests thorough a 2 hour acrylic painting lesson at a local restaurant or client home or office. We are a pop-up paint and sip service. Transport art materials for classes to events. Event pre prep making art samples and preparing art materials. Event clean up, caring for paintbrushes, rags, and drop cloth table coverings. Event time is typically from 6pm-9:30pm including set up and clean up (class is from 7-9pm). Art materials sourcing and cost and scheduling locations and artwork is provided for you by your local mentor!
Basic Qualifications:
- Local to Orange County
- At least 21 years old
- Able to lift 35lbs and walk for upto 4 hrs at a time.
- Experience with teaching is a plus!
- Reliable car to fit art materials (canvas box, paint, easels etc.)
- Storage space at home to keep art materials in good condition
- Be able to speak in front of a large group and lead a structured step-by-step art lesson (Bob Ross style).
- Flexible schedule but willing to commit to working at least 2-3 classes per week.
Job is a 10-99 contracted job pay is based on completed events worked by host on a bi-weekly basis. Pay is dependent on number of guests/ticket sold for event date. Minimum pay is $75, and maximum $250 per class hosted + tips.
