Tusker Trail is an early pioneer in Adventure Travel and has been running overseas treks and expeditions for over 49 years. We started back in 1977 leading expeditions across the African Continent. We specialize in guiding our own Mount Kilimanjaro climbs in Tanzania, where we run our own climbing operation. We also run treks in Mongolia, Nepal and Patagonia. Our Incline Village office, just a few blocks from Lake Tahoe coordinates all of our treks.
ABOUT THE JOB
As our Trek Coordinator, you’ll be at the pulse of our clients’ adventures. You’ll coordinate every last detail of their trips with enthusiasm and precision and help them prepare to experience the extraordinary. You should be outgoing, energetic, and a master of multitasking. If you’re skilled at prioritizing tasks, super detail-oriented, and can handle calls and emails with positive energy, you’ll fit right in. Once you’re familiar with our treks, you’ll be taught how to discuss the details of the trips to help potential clients sign up. And you get to go on our trips after your first year.
KEY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
• On the job training: ( Approx. first two months.)
• Learn all you can learn about our trips and our destinations.
• manage the Customer Relations Management (CRM) program to process trip bookings and trip details efficiently.
• Build the skills to communicate via email and phone with clients about the details of their trips.
• Interact as point of contact for clients.
• Process client payments.
• Maintain office supplies and cleanliness.
• Mail out “swag” to clients.
• Have a fun and positive attitude towards the job.
