Job Summary:
We’re looking for an Inventory and Logistics Specialist to join our team. This role is vital in ensuring our sample materials are well-organized, accurately inventoried, and ready for distribution. The ideal candidate will work closely with our sales team, managers, and inventory coordinators at other locations to ensure smooth operations. Strong memorization skills are critical, as this role requires managing over 70 quartz colors, keeping them organized and accurately labeled.
Responsibilities:
- Organize and maintain an accurate inventory of sample materials, including over 70 quartz colors.
- Memorize and recognize different quartz colors to ensure proper labeling and organization.
- Track incoming and outgoing samples to identify what is in stock and what is needed.
- Communicate regularly with inventory employees at other locations to coordinate sample transfers.
- Drive the company mini-van to assist the sales team in setting up sample racks at client showrooms.
- Assemble and deliver sample sets for shipment to clients and showrooms.
- Lift and handle racks weighing up to 150 pounds during customer setups.
- Collaborate with managers to streamline inventory transfers between locations.
- Manage and organize the sink room inventory during downtime.
Qualifications:
- Strong memorization skills and attention to detail.
-Ability to safely lift and maneuver racks weighing up to 100 pounds.
-Previous experience in inventory management, logistics, or a similar role is a plus.
-Efective communication and teamwork skills.
-A valid driver’s license and the ability to travel locally as needed.
-Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
