Job SummaryResponsible for directing and organizing the strategic financial planning process. Conducts performance, ROI, and competitive analysis. Reviews financial statements and analysis and demonstrates a strong understanding of business models. Job DescriptionCore Responsibilities- Conducts and documents financial analysis, business analysis and profitability and cost analysis and presents to senior management. Analyzes significant variances from plan in order to provide interpretations and recommendations to management.
- Serves as a channel for senior management to relay their financial planning and business needs/issues. Helps lead the preparation and review of Long Range Plan materials for the executive leaders and manages ongoing reporting objectives.
- Develops ways to continually improve processes to ensure thorough, timely, and accurate operational and financial analysis for management team.
- Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance.
- Regular, consistent and punctual attendance. Must be able to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) and overtime as necessary.
- Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Highly Preferred Experience/Additional Info:- Ideal candidate will have strategic finance experience within corporate development, consulting, investment banking, etc
- Strong candidates will possess modeling and analytical expertise with demonstrated excellent communication skills along with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, start-up environment.
- Position is office based in Philadelphia, PA- 4 days/week & remote 1 day/week.
