You'll work closely with the Kitchen Manager to oversee daily kitchen operations, ensure quality standards are met, and support the team in delivering exceptional dishes to our guests. Responsibilities
- Oversee all the kitchen operations, including staff scheduling.
- Ensure all the dishes meet our quality and presentation standards.
- Train, mentor, and manage kitchen staff to maximize efficiency and team morale.
- Maintain compliance with food safety regulations and cleanliness standards.
- Manage inventory and order supplies to control food costs and minimize waste.
- Step in to lead the kitchen team in the absence of the Kitchen Manager.
What we're looking for:
- Proven experience as an assistant kitchen manager, sous chef, or similar role.
- Strong leadership and team-building skills.
- Knowledge of kitchen operations, food safety, and sanitation standards.
- computer skills and knowledge of inventory programs and ordering systems.
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
