Ork out of LACDA main County office in Alhambra, CA. Travel to projects throughout the day as needed. Review plans and specifications, work closely with the project construction manager, provide site visits, provide daily inspection reports, document all work observed and compliance to approved plans and specifications, log materials and compliance to approved submittals, communicate with all team members, coordinate inspections, ensure specialty inspections and testing are performed, keep log of all test results, keep log of all inspections, create and close out punch list, participate in weekly construction meetings, keep project folders, review contractor pay applications for accuracy, provide photos of construction work activities, monitor the schedule requirements and notify project construction manager if delays are potential, provide closeout activities as build documents, O&M manuals, document staff training. Coordinate with contractor and residents work to be performed. Must be able to communicate well. Will ensure all safety procedures are being followed for the construction site and no public access site. Must have general construction knowledge. Contractor superintendent experience is a plus. Prior experience with lead abatement is not required
