We are seeking a motivated and reliable Warehouse Worker to join our team at Final Mile Cold Storage in Reedley, CA. Cold storage workers play a vital role in maintaining the quality and safety of perishable goods. A successful candidate will be responsible for managing products in the warehouse, including cleaning, loading and unloading trucks. They are responsible for properly receiving, rotating and taking the inventory of all products. They inspect and document products and relay issues to supervisors and management. They pick and pack products that are then loaded into temperature controlled trailers to be shipped out. Additionally, they maintain cleanliness and safety standards in the warehouse, and utilize equipment such as forklifts, manual jacks and hydraulic jacks. Theu must have the ability to accommodate the storage of products within the freezer and ensure that product is properly rotated while maintaining a clean and organized department. They guarantee the accuracy of inventory and product and assist with monthly inventory counts. This position reports to a Warehouse Lead and upper management.

Essential functions and basic duties of position
Check bills of lading for accuracy.
Receive and inventory incoming product.
Pick and deliver product to the production floor .
Coordinate shipping and/or receiving operations with Warehouse Lead.
Fill in shipping and/or receiving tally documents.
Organize, rotate, maintain and verify existing inventory
Apply lot stickers to both front and back of received pallet as necessary.
Safely operate manual or ride-on pallet jacks and forklifts.
Execute all safety procedures and standards regarding the storage and receipt of goods.
Assist drivers delivering goods and communicate any issues as well as sign off on paperwork.
Perform other duties and special projects as needed.
Process all inbound and outbound orders as trucks arrive and depart from the warehouse.
Communication between customer and warehouse operations concerning the customer’s account/inventory.

Ø 2+ years of experience in cold storage warehouse environment
Ø Must be able to communicate in English (bi-lingual is a plus)
Ø Ability to work Monday-Friday, weekends may be available
Ø Ability to work up to 10-hour workdays; standing/walking most of the day
