In this position you will be responsible for the assembly, testing, and troubleshooting of electrical and electromechanical assemblies and products by performing the following duties.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following (other duties may be assigned).
Skills needed in either electrical and/or mechanical fields
• Responsible for assembly from stock components to final testing
• Read and interpret assembly schematics and drawings along with following work instructions to build electromechanical assemblies from component parts
• Accurately layout, assemble and/or wire DC tool and controller assemblies to drawings and/or work instructions
• Evaluate assemblies for workmanship and quality
• Perform testing procedures, record data, and prepare certification per work instructions
• Work with the Engineering team on new product rollout

• Intermediate trouble shooting ability on electrical and/or mechanical equipment
• High attention to quality and appearance of finished product
• Read and evaluate engineering drawings and specifications
• Apply a mechanical aptitude to solve problems
• Experience in using torque and electrical measurement devices
• Ability to adjust to rapidly changing priorities
• Electrical or mechanical assembly skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft excel and time reporting software
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
• Two to Four years related experience working with hand tools
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general working instructions, technical procedures, and mechanical and electrical drawings in English
REASONING ABILITY
Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in diagram form
