Founded in 1984, Firetrol is the national leader in fire protection & life safety services. We are currently seeking a District Operations Manager to join our team of over 1,100 of the best fire protection professionals in the industry.
- Lead and manage the day-to-day operations of the fire alarm, suppression, security, and sprinkler divisions.
- Coordinate and oversee installation, maintenance, and repair activities related to life safety systems.
- Develop and implement standard operating procedures to ensure quality and efficiency.
- Collaborate with sales and project management teams to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
- Manage and evaluate team performance, providing guidance and training as needed.
- Ensure compliance with applicable codes, regulations, and safety standards.
- Conduct regular inspections and audits to maintain and improve operational excellence.
- Play a key role in developing strategies for business growth and expansion.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with clients, contractors, and vendors.
- Communicate status of all operations to the District General Manager.
- Proven experience in managing fire life safety systems operations, in a leadership role.
- In-depth knowledge of fire alarm, suppression, security and sprinkler systems, including installation, maintenance, and repair processes.
- Familiarity with relevant codes, standards, and regulations.
- Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and stakeholders.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Proficiency in project management software and tools.
- Valid driver's license and the ability to travel as required.
