Overview:
We are seeking a visionary and experienced leader to serve as the CEO of our multi-trade construction company. The CEO will be responsible for driving overall business strategy, operational excellence, and growth across diverse construction disciplines such as electrical, HVAC, plumbing, site work, Metal steel fabrication and other construction Services. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction management, leadership, and business development.
Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership:
Develop and execute the company’s vision, mission, and strategic goals.
Identify growth opportunities in multi-trade construction markets.
Operational Management:
Financial Oversight:
Develop budgets, financial forecasts, and business plans.
Monitor key financial metrics to ensure profitability and sustainability.
Team Leadership:
Recruit, mentor, and lead a high-performing executive team.
Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and accountability.
Business Development:
Cultivate relationships with clients, stakeholders, and partners.
Secure large-scale contracts and manage key client accounts.
Compliance & Risk Management:
Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal construction regulations.
Mitigate project risks through proactive planning and oversight.
Community Engagement:
Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and community programs.
Advocate for sustainability and eco-friendly practices in construction.
Requirements
Education: Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field (MBA preferred).
Experience:
Minimum of 10 years in a senior leadership role in the construction industry.
Proven success in managing multi-trade construction projects or companies.
Strong background in project management, financial oversight, and team leadership.
Skills:
Exceptional strategic planning and decision-making abilities.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
Proficiency with construction management software and tools.
Certifications: PMP, LEED AP, or other relevant certifications are a plus.
