Responsibilities:
Oversee and manage all electrical work on multi-family residential construction projects.
Coordinate with project managers, subcontractors, and other trades to ensure timely project completion.
Ensure compliance with electrical codes, safety standards, and company policies.
Review project plans, blueprints, and specifications to ensure proper installation.
Order and manage materials, tools, and equipment needed for the project.
Monitor progress, perform inspections, and resolve on-site issues effectively.
Train and supervise electricians and helpers, ensuring high-quality work.
Maintain detailed project records, including schedules, budgets, and reports.
Conduct regular safety meetings and enforce safety protocols on-site.
Requirements:
Minimum of 5 years of experience as an Electrical Superintendent or similar role in multi-family construction.
Extensive knowledge of electrical systems, installations, and local building codes.
Proven leadership and team management skills.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical documents.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Proficiency with project management software and tools.
OSHA 30 Certification is a plus.
Preferred Qualifications:
Journeyman or Master Electrician license.
Experience in multi-family or residential construction projects.
Familiarity with NFPA standards and electrical safety best practices.
