This is a unique opportunity to join the opening team and play a key role in shaping the culture, service standards, and success of a restaurant from the ground up.
Position: General Manager
We are looking for an experienced and dynamic General Manager to oversee front-of-house operations and lead our team with enthusiasm, professionalism, and a commitment to excellence. The GM will work closely with Chef Gussin to ensure a seamless and memorable guest experience while maintaining high standards for service and hospitality.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee daily operations, ensuring the restaurant runs smoothly and efficiently.
Hire, train, and manage front-of-house staff, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
Maintain high service standards and ensure a superior guest experience.
Collaborate with Chef Gussin and the leadership team to implement operational strategies and meet financial goals.
Manage reservations, inventory, and scheduling to optimize efficiency and service.
Oversee compliance with health and safety regulations.
Build strong relationships with guests and the local community to enhance the restaurant’s reputation.
Qualifications:
5+ years of experience as a General Manager or similar role in upscale or high-volume restaurants.
Proven ability to lead and inspire a team, with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Expertise in guest service, hospitality, and operational excellence.
Strong financial acumen, including experience with budgeting, scheduling, and cost management.
Highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive problem solver.
Passion for food, wine, and the restaurant industry.
