Position: Showroom Sales & Customer Service (Similar to an Inside Sales Associate)

**Responsibilities**
As our Showroom Sales & Customer Service Rep, you will be the face of our company, providing exceptional customer service to our valued showroom visitors who are looking to learn about or purchase fireplaces, stoves, inserts, BBQs, fire pits and fire tables. Your main responsibilities will include:
- Customer Service: Greeting and assisting showroom customers, answering their inquiries, and providing detailed product information with enthusiasm and expertise.
- Phone Support: Handling incoming phone calls promptly and professionally, assisting customers with inquiries, and processing orders efficiently.
- Parts Ordering: Assisting customers in ordering the right parts and ensuring timely delivery of their orders.
- Office Backup: Providing coverage and support for general office tasks when needed, contributing to a smooth and well-functioning office environment.
- Showroom Organization: Taking pride in keeping the showroom displays neat, tidy, and appealing to showcase our products effectively.
- Product Knowledge: Continuously learning about the products we carry to become an expert and confidently assist customers in making informed decisions.
**Required Skills**
To thrive in this role, you must possess the following skills:
- Sales Experience: 2+ years. Experience in Hearth and Outdoor Living sales experience is a HUGE plus!
- Customer Service Excellence: You have a passion for helping people and can deliver exceptional service that leaves a lasting positive impression.
- Effective Written & Verbal Communication: You can convey information clearly and confidently in person, over the phone, and via email.
- Organizational Abilities: You have a knack for keeping things orderly and ensuring tasks are completed efficiently.
- World-Class Follow Up & Proactivity: You don’t let anything fall through the cracks when it comes to serving customers. You take detailed notes, find the information customers need, and call them back. You believe in keeping customers updated even if you’re still waiting for an answer. Your philosophy is to call the customer and keep them informed so they never have to call you to find out a status.
- Product Knowledge: You are eager to learn about our products and are committed to becoming an expert in what we offer.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Word, Excel, Outlook & Google Suite
- Ability to type 40+ WPM
- The ability to work independently as well as with a team (team players only!)
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Willingness & love for learning

From $20.00-$25.00 per hour base + commission. Pay is negotiable for candidates with hearth/fireplace experience!
