Job Focus & ResponsibilitiesWe are hiring an Account Executive, Ad Sales based in NYC . The role is responsible for building media partnerships with key brands - including event & experiential sponsorships, branded content, digital, video and social solutions. This is an excellent opportunity to join Literally Media during a time of exciting growth.
The role requires a solutions-oriented business development approach and a salesperson that is positive, empathetic, an active listener and a no-ego team player that drives revenue growth by developing and implementing effective integrated sales strategies and programs. The Account Executive will also be required to open doors and break new accounts that span across multiple industries along the East or West Coast. This sales star will be an integral member of the Literally Media sales team in NY.
Key job responsibilities:
- Deliver high-level of sales and customer service to our agency and brand media clients.
- Demonstrate internal collaborative leadership across publishers, ad ops, account management and others.
- Prospect and create new relationships with clients at all levels within large advertiser organizations.
- Retain and grow revenue from existing advertisers.
- Understand Literally Media's, display, video, and event advertising opportunities and tools to help build relevant advertising solutions for our advertisers.
- Utilize Sales CRM tools to track pertinent account information and sales progress as well as forecast to achieve quarterly quota goals.
- Generate revenue through live and virtual events, digital/print media, custom, branded and sponsored content sales
- Develop and drive innovative new revenue opportunities across all platforms
- Develop integrated 360 client/agency pitches that include display, video, social and mobile including experiential and custom content integrations
- This role requires a minimum of three days a week working from the assigned office and will require travel as needed.
Basic Qualifications
- 5+ years of media industry experience
- 3+ years of digital media ad sales experience, preferably with an entertainment focused property
- Proven track record as a top multiplatform seller
- History of consistently exceeding revenue targets and overcoming challenges
- Experience closing large and complex deals with advertisers and key agency stakeholders
- Relevant client and agency relationships with experience calling on both effectively
- Excellent communication, interpersonal collaboration and problem-solving skills
- Ability to navigate internal relationships and collaborate with other sellers, divisions and brands within Literally Media portfolio
- Willingness to travel for meetings and events as needed, entertain clients and attend industry events
- Must be well-organized, self-motivated and driven
The base pay for this position ranges from $110k-$125k. Factors that may determine your actual pay may include your specific job related knowledge, skills, experience, and geographic location.
