Dispatcher/Router
Position Summary
We are seeking an assertive and highly organized individual to join our team as a Dispatcher/Router. This critical role ensures seamless communication between employees and customers, enhancing overall operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities
• Route Management:
o Maintain and update routes using various platforms, ensuring consistency and clarity for employees.
o Plan and manage daily PD (pickup/delivery) and weekly routes.
o Communicate critical updates—such as larger jobs, anomalies, or labor concerns—with the operations team.
o Optimize routes for maximum efficiency.
• Labor Coordination:
o Conduct daily reviews of labor allocation with the operations manager.
o Adapt labor plans to accommodate last-minute changes due to fluctuating workloads.
• Route Completion Oversight:
o Monitor route progress throughout the day to ensure all tasks are completed by end-of-day.
o Develop contingency plans to address any issues affecting route completion.
• Documentation Management:
o Ensure all paperwork is accurately completed and submitted daily.
o Collaborate with the billing department to review month-end documentation.
o Oversee Daily Vehicle Inspection Reports (DVIR) and communicate necessary repairs to the operations manager.
• Technical Support:
o Troubleshoot issues related to routing software, phones, and computers.
• Critical Thinking and Decision Making:
o Make on-the-spot decisions with a focus on profitability and customer satisfaction.
o Escalate concerns to appropriate parties when necessary.

Qualifications
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous office experience preferred, especially in:
o Routing and dispatching programs
o Microsoft Office Suite
• Bilingual (English and Spanish) preferred.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Excellent communication skills across various channels (email, phone, text, and in-person).
