Job Description Objective The Senior Superintendent is responsible for all on-site activities of the construction project including safety, quality control, coordinating trade partners, material, and equipment, ensuring that specifications are being followed, and work is proceeding on schedule and within budget.

- Management of Pahlisch Commercial site personnel specific to the project.
- Oversee the performance of all trade partners and review architectural and engineering drawings to make sure that all specifications and regulations are followed.
- Work with project manager to create and maintain the project master schedule, ensure const control, and coordination of loss prevention and quality control.
- Assist with the scopes of work, bid package development, and help solicit subcontractors and suppliers.
- Responsible for the 3-week look-ahead schedule.
- Development of site utilization plan, and review of submittal log.
- Assist in the evaluation of subcontractors and participate in subcontractor project orientation meetings and project OAC meetings.
- Review all submittal data and shop drawings to ensure project schedules are expedited and materials are delivered on time.
- Review change documents to subcontractors/suppliers and assist in collecting pricing and/or preparing change proposal requests for internal pricing review.
- Perform on-site inspections of the various subcontractors' work to ensure that the level of quality is following build standards.
- Build effective working relationships with building officials.
- Coordinate with Property Management Team regarding quality and walk through preparation of buildings/units for move in.
- Complete site-specific safety orientation training when on site, observe all safety rules, and wear all appropriate Personal Protective Equipment for job site.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in construction management or civil engineering preferred
- Proven track record of outstanding customer service and performance
- 10+ years minimum experience in commercial construction, 7+ years specific to multi-family
Salary Description
$150,000 - $170,000
