The Sr. Director, GSM Mature Eye Solution will lead the strategy, innovation and marketing agenda for the Mature Eye Solution which includes the $1.0 billion dollar TECNIS® brands and equipment and accessories related to cataract surgery. This leader will create value via their partnership with markets, regions, R&D, Business Development, Global Business Insights, Finance and Supply Chain and have direct line management for the Mature Eye marketing team.
This role will provide leadership in marketing, brand strategy, pricing, market development, key opinion leader (KOL) engagement, sales, professional education, and competitive insights, innovation and business development. They will be responsible for:
- Shaping the strategy for the Mature Eye portfolio
- Shaping the marketing agenda for the portfolio, inclusive of brand positioning, architecture, and pricing guidance
- Shaping the innovation and pipeline strategy for the Mature Eye Solution in collaboration with cross-functional partners
- Developing global insights to drive new product concepts, market segmentation, KOL engagement and marketing strategies.
- Managing the New Product Innovation pipeline, including meeting key development milestones
- Working closely with the regional marketing teams to execute marketing and launch plans
- Partnering closely with the regions to understand market dynamics and support the regional commercial needs
- Creating relationships with worldwide key opinion leaders
- Driving value-based healthcare initiatives through key claims and a robust evidence strategy
- Managing portfolio profitability and the global P&L
- Building a pipeline of talent and fostering a culture of engagement within the team.

QualificationsQualifications
- Minimum of a bachelor's degree is required. MBA is preferred.
- Significant track record of success (10+ years) of related experience required.
- Achieving results in Sales and Marketing through leadership experience is required.
- Experience in MedTech industry is preferred.
- Ability to challenge the status quo and lead change is required.
- Ability to forge internal collaboration across all levels of the enterprise is required
- Demonstrated ability in business strategy and financial management is required.
- Strong influencing skills with internal and external partners is required.
- Proven leadership ability to motivate and lead cross-functional teams across a matrix organization is required
- 30% travel required

The anticipated base pay range for this position is $173,000 to $299,000. The Company maintains highly competitive, performance-based compensation programs. Under current guidelines, this position is eligible for an annual performance bonus in accordance with the terms of the applicable plan. The annual performance bonus is a cash bonus intended to provide an incentive to achieve annual targeted results by rewarding for individual and the corporation's performance over a calendar/ performance year. Bonuses are awarded at the Company's discretion on an individual basis.

- Vacation - up to 120 hours per calendar year

- Holiday pay, including Floating Holidays - up to 13 days per calendar year
- Work, Personal and Family Time - up to 40 hours per calendar year
