KITCHEN STAFF DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Responsible for hands-on food production in the restaurant
- Responsible for cooking Sauces
- Responsible for all preparations in the kitchen
- Preparations such as:
Frying
Grilling
Boiling
Cutting Vegetables
Sautéed
- Communicate with Management regarding restaurant's supply needs in the kitchen.
- Ensure and comply with a safe and hazard-free work environment according to the Health Department Guidelines.
- Must be able to lift minimum of 50 LBS with or without assistance
- Responsible for keeping the kitchen clean during and before shift ends
- Prepare and cook food in a timely manner according to the needs of the daily operation.
- Must provide California Food Handlers Certificate
- Responsibilities must be performed in accordance with all restaurants standards, policies, and procedures.
SERVER DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Responsible for welcoming customers upon arrival and guiding them to their table.
- Presenting menus and accurately recording customer food and beverage selection and enter them into the ordering system.
- Must learn how to operate POS
- Server must be familiar with the food on the menu, including ingredients, preparation methods, potential allergens, and taste profiles
- Relaying orders to the kitchen staff accurately and promptly, communicate any special request
- Must be able to multitasks with both online orders, and in house orders
- Accurately handling cash and credit card transactions, presenting the bill, and processing payments
- Following restaurant policies regarding food safety, alcohol service, and sanitation procedures
- Communicate with co-workers closely to ensure customer service satisfaction
- Must be able to lift at least 50 LBS with or without assistance
- Prepare and resets restaurant's table with special attention to sanitation and order
- Sweeping and mopping floor as needed and before shift ends
- Responsible for cleaning menus, bathrooms, beverage station and trash
- Must provide California Food Handlers Certificate
- Must communicate with management regarding customer's compliments and complaints
- Responsibilities must be performed in accordance with all restaurants standards, policies, and procedures.
