Position: BARTENDERS, BARBACKS, CASHIERS, KITCHEN STAFF.
Sports Bar, Kitchen and Night Club all in one building! Cali’s has two floors, two full bars and a full kitchen. We show all televised sports including basketball, football, soccer, baseball, UFC fights and boxing. Our kitchen features a diverse and extensive comfort food menu and the cocktail menu will be giving island vibes with a crafty twist.
Our hours of operations are from 11am to 2am, 7 days a week.
We are looking for people that like to learn, work hard, meet new people, and smile!
Must be able to work on weekends and be flexible.
Basic Requirements:
Excellent customer service, friendly and efficient.
Responsible, energetic and detail oriented.
Well-groomed and neat in appearance and must wear non-slip shoes.
Multitasker, able to work fast and clean under pressure.
Professionalism and a solid work ethic.
Team player and reliable.
Familiarity with Toast POS system is a plus.
Be able to carry or lift up to 50 lbs.
Be able to stand on your feet for more than 4+ hours.

Bartenders:
Must be 21 years old.
Must have 3 years of bartending experience.
Must be ServSafe and RBS certified, or be able to obtain a certification.
Must have the desire to go above and beyond to provide excellent guest service.
Must provide table service to seated guests.
Maintaining a clean and safe work area at all times, restock before and after every shift.
Learn and execute house cocktail recipes to ensure a consistent experience for our guests.
Learn our food menu and always upsell.
Barbacks:
Must be 21 years old.
Must be ServSafe and RBS certified, or be able to obtain a certification.
Must be organized and detail oriented.
Fast working while assisting the bartender and helping on the floor.
Keeping the bar clean and tidy.
Keeping everything stocked and ready for the next shift.
Stocking liquors, refilling garnishes, hauling kegs, constantly washing glassware, changing garbage bins in and out.
Tidy up tables, bar counter and other areas as needed.
Cashiers:
Communication skills by greeting customers, answering questions about our menu, including problem solving and attention to detail.
Thrives in a team environment, ready to learn and train if given the opportunity.
Support and work with the rest of the team.
Answering phone calls, operating the cash register, bagging, cleaning tables after guests leave and assisting with tables set up for big groups.
Handle customer complaints with professionalism and positive attitude.
Maintaining cleanliness in dining areas and assisting with cleaning spills and other dining needs.
Restocking before and after shifts.
Must be ServSafe certified, or be able to obtain a certification.
Kitchen:
Previous experience with grilling, salad and sandwich preparation, pans and deep frying • Able to accurately read and communicate orders Well organized, shows a sense of urgency; able to track multiple orders and multi task • Works well under pressure • Team player, works productively with others • Understanding of food safe practices Key Responsibilities: • Presents him/herself professionally, e.g. clean uniform, well groomed • Maintains up to date knowledge of recipes, procedures and plating for all menu, special and promo items for which he/she is responsible • Prepares grill/char grill/salad/sandwich/entree items to recipe or special order • Meets timing standards • Coordinates orders with others, assists coworkers as needed • Works cooperatively with front of house staff to respond to guest needs • Ensures his/her areas of responsibility are well stocked and guest ready • Maintains high standards of cleanliness, safety and food safety throughout the shift • As required: stock taking, cleaning, opening and closing tasks; and any other duties designated by the management team or Kitchen Leader. Physical Demands: • Must be able to stand and exert well-paced mobility for up to 4 hours in length. • Ability to lift and carry 0-25 pounds on a regular basis, throughout the shift. Must be able to push and pull equipment of various sizes and weights (e.g. 25lbs pot of hot water), throughout the shift. Must be able to kneel, bend, stoop, squat and stretch to fulfill tasks.
