Description:
I’m seeking a compassionate, reliable caregiver to assist my elderly parents in their home. The ideal candidate will be patient, trustworthy, and have experience working with seniors. This position is for 3 days per week (Monday, Wednesday, and Friday).
Responsibilities include:
• Light housekeeping (cleaning common areas, tidying up)
• Preparing simple, healthy meals
• Assisting with showering/bathing and personal hygiene
• Grocery shopping and running errands
• Accompanying parents to doctor’s appointments and other outings
Qualifications:
• Previous caregiving or home healthcare experience (preferred)
• Patience, empathy, and strong communication skills
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Ability to lift/assist with mobility if needed
• References from past caregiving roles (preferred)
Hours & Compensation:
• 3 days a week: Monday, Wednesday, and Friday
• Exact hours can be discussed (flexible start/end times)
• Competitive hourly rate based on experience
