Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Glazing Foreman to lead and supervise our installation teams. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of glazing installation techniques, excellent leadership qualities, and a proven track record of successfully managing projects and crews.
Responsibilities:
Project Management: Oversee and coordinate all aspects of glazing installation projects, from material procurement and delivery scheduling to ensuring timely and efficient completion within budget.
Team Leadership: Supervise and mentor a team of glazing installers, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure quality workmanship and adherence to safety protocols.
Quality Control: Inspect installations to ensure compliance with project specifications, quality standards, and safety regulations.
Problem Solving: Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that may arise during the installation process, effectively addressing challenges and finding solutions.
Communication: Maintain clear and effective communication with clients, project managers, suppliers, and the installation team.
Safety Compliance: Enforce and promote a safe working environment, ensuring compliance with all safety regulations and company policies.
Documentation: Maintain accurate records of project progress, materials used, and employee time sheets.
Qualifications:
5+ years of proven experience in the construction glazing industry, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or foreman role.
Comprehensive knowledge of various glazing systems, installation techniques, and industry best practices.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, shop drawings, and specifications.
Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Excellent problem-solving abilities and organizational skills.
OSHA 30 certification preferred.
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
