Qualifications and Skills:
hands on Kitchen manager willing to learn our Oaxacan cuisine and work well with others

-At least 2 year’s experience
-Experience working as a kitchen manager and leading by example
-Experience in Mexican restaurants and with pub fare
--Excellent communication skills and a mature, professional demeanor
-Resourceful, result-oriented, self-starter with a strong work ethic and job commitment.
Educating staff in food-safety standards, safe food-handling, sanitation procedures and storage
-Creating ingredient lists, inventory sheets, order sheets, and setting pars)
-Standardizing presentation, portion control, quantities, and quality
-Creating food prep checklists
-Streamlining our kitchen operations and kitchen staff scheduling to reduce labor
-Recruiting, Hiring, and Training BOH staff
-Assist with and take the lead on certain HR components: BOH hiring, discipline, and terminatio
This position will be responsible for managing our restaurant in Santa Clarita
