Position Overview
The Graphic Designer brings ideas from concept to fruition! Driven by a passion for licensed properties, they research, ideate and create concepts for reusable bags. They use visual presentation tools to share their ideas with peers, clients, development partners and customers.
This position will be working under our Creative Director and is also responsible for owning and completing accessory projects from concept to finish. This position will pull trends, work on retail and licensor presentations and design for all the categories that Legacy produces.
Responsibilities
• Design and submit new concepts for necessary approvals with each studio
• Create products & line sheets both digitally and in 3D for retail pitches
• Manage the compliance process between the movie studio and the manufacturing facilities
• Develop graphics for product illustrations, logos, and websites
• Select colors, images, text style, and layout according to client merchandising strategies
• Incorporate changes recommended by the clients into the final design
• Work closely with Creative Director to create graphics for all categories
• Conduct research to identify latest trends
• Create and manage products from concept to manufacturing
• Address and manage feedback from all stakeholders. Develop design solutions which accommodate best intent while maintaining the integrity of the design.
• Review and comment on all product samples with vendors, updating specs and instructions as needed to meet final product expectations.
• Support and assist with presentations as needed
Education, Experience, Skills
• A developed and versatile portfolio of graphic and product design
• 3+ years in professional commercial design, preferably with a marketing or creative agency
• Proficient in: Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Acrobat, & InDesign
• Creative, artistic, trend driven innovator who is obsessed with pop culture
• Extensive experience with Illustrator, Photoshop and InDesign, specifically with mockups, web design and multimedia presentation
• Working knowledge of CSS3, HTML5 and JavaScript
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Ability to create multiple styles of art/design for different customers
• Able to meet tight deadlines and self-manage projects
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel and Word)
• Versatile and fluent in using MAC and Microsoft products.
Business Hours
Monday through Friday, 9am to 5pm. Schedules can vary based on deadlines and projects. This is an in-office position.
Salary Rate
DOE (Depending on Experience)
