Owen Equipment Sales, an Owen Company, is looking for an experienced Equipment Demo & Sales Development Driver to join our growing team in Fairfield, California. We are one of the largest Vactor and Elgin dealers in the United States and sell, service and rent sewer cleaners, vacuum excavators, street sweepers and related accessories. We are the largest supplier in the Western U.S. of replacement brushes and brooms for sweeping equipment. We maintain five full-service locations in Portland, Oregon; Kent, Washington; Spokane, Washington; Fairfield, California; and Salt Lake City, Utah and our customer base consists of the largest municipalities and contractors in the Western U.S. Our equipment is critical to keeping our streets and sewer systems clean, locating buried infrastructure during construction projects, and helping to build and maintain our electrical grid.

Salary: $23.00 - 27.00/hr. depending on experience.

Equipment Demo and Sales Development Driver duties:
Ability to learn and demonstrate equipment features, benefits and specs.
Provide sales assistance.
Maintain demonstration schedules and demo results in CRM system.
Responsible for delivery and rental paperwork.
Communicate rental expectations and training with customers.
Ability to diagnose and repair mechanical issues in the field.
Clean, adjust and ensure equipment operates correctly.
Inventory tracking.
Transportation of equipment.
Requirements of this Position.
Knowledge of local freeway systems, traffic and navigation tools with the ability to navigate throughout Owen’s California territory.
Other skill sets including, but not limited to: flexibility, understanding urgencies, reliability, and the ability to multi-task while managing time efficiently.
Prior experience with the operation of heavy equipment.
Excellent communication skills.
Ability to travel overnight as needed.
Clean driving record and a Class B tanker endorsed CDL, Class A License preferred.
