Join our team at McGuire Grinding, a leading Grinding company based in beautiful Paso Robles, specializing in serving the Aerospace industry. We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced CNC operator for Haas lathe, Haas Mill, Eguro Lathe, and Swiss Machine to join our team immediately.
As a key member of our team, you will have the opportunity to showcase your expertise in precision CNC operations. Required skills for this role include:
*Responsible for daily programming, set-up and operation of CNC milling and lathe machines
Primary job responsibilities:
*Program with print and or solid model to finished piece part: set-up machines and instruct operators to run production.
Candidate must:
*Good communication skills both verbal and written
* Ability to work both independently and as a collaborative team player who communicates well at all levels of the organization.
*Ability to pass pre-employment skill-proficiency test
* Ability to program
*Able to read blueprints, instruction sheets, job cards, and CNC programs, customer drawings, and industry specifications.
* Experience in working with various materials (stainless steels, copper, aluminums, plastics, steels, etc.)
*Skilled in using various inspection tools, including micrometers, calipers, comparators, and other equipment.
* Strong attention to detail and analytical thinking, with the ability to apply mathematics effectively in job functions.
*Capable of accurately applying shop math to daily tasks.
* Ability to follow both verbal and written instructions effectively.
*Strong interpersonal skills, including listening, speaking, and writing.
* Ability to lift and carry up to 40 lbs.
*Willingness to stand for 90% to 100% of the shift.
