Colorado Steel Works is looking for an Iron Worker / Fabricator. We fabricate and install structural, stairs, and architectural steel for the Aspen and Grand Junction markets. To qualify for this job, you need to have been certified for stick welding in at least the 3G position. We perform all types of welds; stick, mig, and tig. We work with mostly soft steel, but also stainless and aluminum. We are looking for an individual that is more than a welder. We are looking for an individual that can read plans, layout and manage a small crew of men. At times you may also work alone. Must have a valid drivers license with a good enough record to drive one of our trucks. We work from Monday - Friday (no weekends). 40 hours would be normal. You will have overtime on many weeks. We are looking for someone that understands how to work and think and ask questions. Must be a self starter, self motivated to get the job done. Part of management; team player.
