AIRLIMITS, a leading provider of mobile compliance testing and inspection services, is seeking Mobile Field Technicians to serve truck drivers and fleets across the state of California.
About the Role
As a Mobile Field Technician, you’ll be part of a dynamic team ensuring truck drivers and fleets stay compliant with Compliance regulations.
This role requires travel to meet drivers at various locations, including truck stops, rest areas, and customer sites, often on short notice. Future opportunities may include travel to other regions to assist with nationwide compliance efforts.
Responsibilities
• Perform mobile compliance inspections and testing for trucks and trailers.
• Communicate effectively and compassionately with truck drivers and fleet managers.
• Work in all types of weather, including Southern California humidity, heat, rain, and cooler conditions.
• Manage a flexible and ever-changing schedule, including evenings and weekends.
• Accurately complete and submit inspection reports.
Physical Requirements
• Clean background check (required)
Drug free environment with random tests. Clean driving record that will be verified.
This role requires physical fitness and mobility to:
• Open hoods, kneel, squat, and use small step ladder.
• The ability to pull yourself up to inspect large trucks and trailers.
• Work efficiently outdoors in varied weather conditions.
• Ability to read fine or small print.
What We’re Looking For
• A valid driver’s license and reliable personal vehicle. Yes, you’ll use your own vehicle during the introductory & training period. Option for vehicle reimbursement or company vehicle.
• Independence: The ability to work independently and manage your schedule effectively.
• Communication: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Technology: Experience with Apple smart phones and iPhone operating systems iOS, apps and able to input information into customer relationship management CRM & Field Service Management FSM platforms.
• Flexibility: Comfort with changing schedules, including weekends and evenings, and possible overnight travel.
• Reliability: Ability to stay organized and maintain high standards in a fast-paced environment.
• Compassion: A customer-first mindset with excellent communication skills.
• Physically Capable: Comfort working in physical roles and outdoor environments.
