DescriptionThis role will concentrate on data needs for Viewpoint Site CTMS (formerly SignalPath) - the next generation of software for the clinical research site. We focus on enabling efficient, collaborative, timely execution of clinical trials to make research an enjoyable, cost effective endeavor.
This role will work broadly in the data stack for Viewpoint Site CTMS: collaborating across and between Engineering and Data teams, deeply understanding data sources, owning data modeling, and supporting the needs of Product and Analytics.
Responsibilities- Design, develop, test, deploy, maintain and improve Site CTMS data models and pipelines.
- Contribute to cross-functional team efforts, driving engineering solutions that deliver significant value to partners.
- Manage individual project priorities, deadlines and deliverables.
- Onboard and mentor new engineers, contribute to training materials, and provide feedback to ensure high-quality support.
QualificationsMinimum Qualifications
- BS degree or equivalent practical experience. 4+ years of relevant experience in data architecture, data engineering, analytics, or similar functions.
- 3+ years experience with data pipelines and monitoring.
- 2+ years experience programming in an object-oriented language such as Python.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting software in a research setting.
- Experience with DBT.
- Experience with collaboration and prioritization across a broad organization.
- Ready to mentor analysts and engineers in SQL optimization and data best practices.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $111,000 - $157,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
