Established in 2001, N-Hance Wood Refinishing of Ventura County has helped 1000s of home owners fall in love with their kitchen and other cabinetry all over again.
We are growing and looking for an individual to fill a full-time position of Field & Shop Supervisor. This is year-round, consistent, full-time work. Previous painting and paint prep work (e.g. masking, patching with bondo and/or wood sealers, etc), and supervisory experience are a must!
As a Field and Shop Supervisor, you will be responsible for the following tasks:
- Ensure equipment and supply trailers are loaded with supplies technicians will need for each job
- Deliver 6ft supply trailers to each job site (2-3 per week) on Mondays, and pick them back up on Friday afternoons
- Be able to clearly communicate with our customers during project kick offs, quality checks and final job walks
- Communicate daily project plans to both shop and field personnel
- Work with Office Manager on updating clients with project statuses and plans of action on daily basis
- Perform daily field and shop job walks as part of Quality Checks
- Ensure projects are completed on time, on schedule and on budget
- Work with Office Manager on scheduling projects and securing supplies required for each site
- Provide technical guidance and leadership to technicians
- Maintain shop cleanliness and keep it organized
- Be able to jump in and assist with hands-on tasks, as needed
To qualify for this position you should have:
- Previous experience managing painting crews
- Previous experience preparing, painting and/or spraying cabinets
- High attention to detail
- Ability to clearly communicate with both technicians and customers alike
- A valid driver’s license
- A clean driving record, within the past three years
- Be available 5 days a week Mon-Fri between the hours of 7:30am-4:30pm
- High school or equivalent (preferred)
- Ability to work multiple locations
