Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Business Development to lead our growth efforts, focusing on building strategic partnerships, expanding market opportunities, and securing funding. You will play a key role in identifying new business prospects, fostering long-term relationships with investors, and working closely with the executive team to drive our company's growth in the biotech and life sciences space.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and execute a comprehensive business development strategy aligned with Cyclarity Therapeutics' goals.
Identify, evaluate, and prioritize new business opportunities, including strategic partnerships, licensing deals, and joint ventures.
Lead fundraising efforts by building relationships with venture capital firms, pharma ventures, angel investors, and other potential partners.
Actively engage in outreach to pharmaceutical companies, research institutions, and healthcare organizations to foster collaboration opportunities.
Collaborate with the scientific and executive teams to communicate Cyclarity’s value proposition and product pipeline to potential partners and investors.
Manage and grow existing business relationships, ensuring long-term partnership success.
Stay up to date on industry trends, competitive landscape, and market dynamics to identify and seize growth opportunities.
Attend industry conferences, networking events, and investor meetings to represent Cyclarity Therapeutics.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Life Sciences, or a related field (MBA or advanced degree in Life Sciences preferred).
5+ years of experience in business development, preferably within biotech, pharmaceuticals, or life sciences.
Proven track record of securing partnerships, funding, or licensing deals in the biotech or life sciences industry.
Strong understanding of the drug development process and regulatory environment within the biotech space.
Exceptional communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to present complex scientific concepts to diverse audiences.
Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
A passion for science and technology, with an understanding of cardiovascular disease or related therapeutic areas being a plus.
