The Law Offices of Richard Kim is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Personal Injury Case Manager to join our team in Buena Park, California. If you are passionate about helping others, have strong organizational skills, and thrive in a fast-paced legal environment, we want to hear from you!
Position Details
- Job Type: Full-time (40 hours per week, Monday through Friday)
- Schedule:
* First 3 Months: In-office (probation period)
* After Probation: Hybrid (3 days in-office, 2 days remote)
- Pay: $25–$30 per hour (based on experience)
- Benefits: Health and dental insurance, generous PTO
Key Responsibilities
- Pre-Litigation Case Management:
* Manage personal injury cases from intake to settlement.
* Open claims and ensure clients attend their medical treatments.
* Communicate with medical providers and insurance companies via phone and email.
* Obtain and organize medical and billing records.
* Prepare demand packages, negotiate settlements, resolve medical liens, and disburse settlements to clients and providers.
-Litigation Support:
*Assist attorneys with litigation files, discovery, and trial preparation.
*Serve legal paperwork and compile exhibits.
*Maintain regular communication with clients, providing updates and gathering necessary information.
Qualifications
- Ideal candidate will be someone who is willing to learn and can be coached.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow through on tasks.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Experience with personal injury cases is preferred.
- Familiarity with legal systems such as One Legal and CasePeer is a plus.
- Spanish-speaking candidates are highly preferred.
