We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Bookkeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will manage payroll processing, maintain accurate financial records, handle general filing duties, and utilize QuickBooks to ensure our financial data is up-to-date and accurate.
Process payroll accurately and on time, including calculating hours, overtime, and deductions.
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations.
Maintain employee records related to payroll, taxes, and benefits.
Record financial transactions and reconcile accounts in QuickBooks.
Manage accounts payable and receivable.
Assist with month-end and year-end financial close processes.
Generate financial reports as required.
Organize and maintain financial documents, employee records, and other files.
Ensure all documents are stored securely and are easily retrievable.
Support audits and financial reviews by providing necessary documentation.
Proven experience as a bookkeeper, payroll clerk, or similar role.
Proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word).
Strong understanding of payroll regulations and accounting principles.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
