Apparel Inspection / Warehouse Staff (part-time)
We are a small apparel company looking for part-time inspection staff to join our team. The products needing inspection include clothing, shoes, bags, and accessory items. Our core brands are Yuketen, Monitaly, Chamula, and Epperson Mountaineering.
Responsibilities:
• Product inspection of a variety of apparel items.
• Packing and preparation for shipment.
• Receiving and accurately recording deliveries to warehouse.
• Data entry into spreadsheets and online system.
• May be asked to assist with web order processing or other shipping related tasks.
Skills/qualifications:
• Basic computer skills (MS Office, including Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Attention to detail.
• Good work ethic, and responsible attitude.
• Ability to lift and carry cartons of up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to work while standing for extended periods of time.
• Ability (or willingness to learn) to operate a pallet jack and forklift.
• Focus and time management to get assigned tasks done in an efficient manner.
• Experience in the apparel industry or product inspection is a plus.
• Familiarity with Japanese language or culture may be helpful, but is not required.
Schedule:
• Standard work hours are 9am-6pm, Monday-Friday.
• Specific part-time schedule may be discussed.
• Initially looking for part-time staff, but chance to transition to full-time in the future.
