Express Employment Professionals is currently looking for Loading Associates to support a local building material company. This role involves physically demanding tasks, including lifting objects weighing up to 50 pounds. As a Loading Associate, you will work alongside experienced load builders to gather lumber and beams for the assembly of lumber orders. This position is primarily outdoors in a gravel lot, so be prepared for exposure to dust and various weather conditions.
Primary Duties:
Operate various lifting equipment, including forklifts, to move products, equipment, or materials within the warehouse, shop, or yard.
Provide guidance and support to less-experienced Load Builders as needed.
Accurately position forks, lifting platforms, or other lifting devices to handle loaded pallets, skids, boxes, products, or materials. You may also assist in connecting tow trucks to trailers and transporting loads to designated areas.
Attach identifying tags or labels to materials or mark information on cases, bales, or containers to ensure proper item identification.
Minimum Requirements:
-High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED).
-Forklift Certification is required.
-Must have lumber experience
