Job Description:
MG REMEDIATION INC is seeking dedicated Abatement Workers to join our team. This role involves the removal of hazardous materials such as asbestos and lead-containing building materials from residential and commercial structures, particularly older properties undergoing renovation, demolition, or repair due to fire or water damage.
Our Abatement Workers are responsible for working in a contained environment while wearing personal protective equipment (PPE). Daily tasks include cleaning and demolition activities, as well as ensuring safe and proper disposal of hazardous materials.

Daily Responsibilities:
• Travel to 1-2 local job sites using your personal vehicle.
• Construct containment areas before beginning abatement or decontamination work.
• Remove hazardous building materials from surfaces, structures, or equipment using hand or power tools.
• Clean work areas, tools, and equipment.
• Load/unload materials or waste into containers or onto trucks for proper disposal.

Qualifications & Experience:
• Preferred experience in the building trades, including demolition, HVAC, water mitigation, or mold remediation.
• Ability to understand and follow both oral and written instructions.
• Ability to work in confined spaces and in extreme temperatures.
• Ability to perform physically demanding work over extended periods.
• Must understand and follow safety procedures when handling asbestos-containing materials.
• Comfortable working in safety clothing and respiratory protection.
• Proficiency with general construction tools, materials, and equipment.
• Must pass a physical examination as required by state and federal regulations upon appointment.
• An AHERA Asbestos Worker or Supervisor Certification is a plus
