We are looking for an Individual to be Lead Barista.
The position requires a minimum 3 years experience as a Barista.
Previous experience with responsibility and leadership would be appreciated.
Dynamo donut is a small women owned, neighborhood Bakery and coffee shop. We are looking for an individual who loves coffee and donuts, and understands that a coffee shop is more than just a great cup. Candidate must possess a friendly demeanor, outstanding customer service skills, the ability to stay calm under pressure, and wants to be part of a fun hardworking team. We pride ourselves in serving the 24th st. corridor neighborhood of the Mission since 2008, and are looking for the right person to join us.
Position requires writing a schedule and maintaining all schedule shifts changes, including all communications for requested time off and last minute calling out. Candidate must have flexibility and willingness to work with many personalities.
Candidate will manage coffee and paper goods inventories on a weekly basis.
Other responsibilities include robust communication with fellow managers and the owner regarding menu changes, POS updates, tracking and managing waste, equipment repairs, and general operations issues.
Candidate must work weekends. The job entails working is between 35-40 hours a week. It requires standing for long periods of time. You Candidate must be flexible, open to feedback, and ready to lead by example. Candidate must have a valid driver's license, as you will need to drive the company van to our second location in the Marina.
