We are looking for an experienced accountant to join our fast-growing lending and funds management business. Our group has two main arms: being Faes & Co (www.faes.co) which manages the Faes & Co Income Fund, and F2 Finance (www.f2yes.com) which is our lending business. Our group structure is evolving as we raise additional capital and grow our business, and we need additional accounting support.
This is an exciting role for a hard-working, detail-orientated accountant looking to grow.
You will work alongside our Financial Controller in assisting with the management of the group's accounts, and this will include various tasks such as:
- Perform day-to-day accounting functions, including bookkeeping, reconciliations, and data entry;
- Processing cash and reconciling bank statements;
- Assisting in setting up investment wires;
- Supporting our auditors and external accountants with end-of-year and reporting requirements;
- Assisting with the preparation of end-of-month internal management reporting and reports for external institutional investors;
- Monitoring inflows and loan repayments to assess available cash for lending;
- Assist with financial analysis, budgeting, and forecasting as required.
Experience with a funds management or lending business would be a major advantage. In addition to this, you will need:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (or equivalent qualification);
- Two years of work experience as an accountant;
- Proficient understanding of US GAAP accounting principles;
- Comfortable with numerical modeling to solve practical problems;
- Proficiency in Google Business Apps (including GoogleSheets), and Quickbooks.
