Overview: The Senior Product Manager will play a pivotal role in defining and driving the strategic direction of our product portfolio. This individual will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including design, engineering, sales, and marketing, to ensure that our lighting products align with market trends, customer needs, and company objectives. This role requires a strategic and innovative thinker with a hands-on approach, strong leadership skills, and a passion for creating exceptional products.
Key Responsibilities:- Product Strategy & Roadmap:
- Develop and execute a comprehensive product strategy aligned with the company's goals and market opportunities.
- Create and maintain a product roadmap that balances short-term priorities with an emphasis on our long-term vision.
- Conduct extensive risk analysis and mitigation to ensure successful and resilient products.
- Product Competitive Analysis:
- Conduct market research to identify customer needs, industry trends, and competitive insights.
- Apply findings from data to drive product decisions and enhancements consistently.
- Product Development:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (engineering, design, and manufacturing) to develop new products and enhance existing ones, ensuring timely delivery.
- Develop full Product Requirements and specifications that drive business cases for stakeholders.
- Customer-Centric Approach: Gather feedback from customers and stakeholders to drive product improvements and innovation.
- Performance Monitoring: Analyze product performance metrics, including sales, profitability, and customer satisfaction, and take data-driven actions to achieve targets.
- Compliance & Standards: Ensure products meet regulatory standards and sustainability goals in all markets consistently.
- Leadership: Assist in the training & mentorship of new Product Managers.
- Work cohesively with the Product Director to update and improve current product processes.
Qualifications:- Experience: 5+ years of product development experience, preferably in Ecommerce, or in the lighting or electrical products industry.
- Proven record of making data driven decisions that lead to successful product(s).
- Proficient in conducting risk analysis and mitigation
- Adept at developing comprehensive product requirements and specifications.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in business, Engineering, or a related field (MBA or equivalent is a plus)
- Technical Skills: Familiarity with lighting technologies, LED systems, and industry standards.
- Project Management: Proven track record in leading the end-to-end product development process, from ideation to launch, ensuring timely delivery and high quality.
- Communication Skills: Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Analytical Mindset: Strong problem-solving and analytical skills to interpret data and make sound decisions.
- Collaboration: Team player who thrives in cross-functional, quick paced environments.
- Customer Focus: Deep understanding of customer needs and an ability to translate them into actionable strategies
Job Type: Full-Time, Exempt
Salary: $80,000 - $96,000 USD
