New York State Department of Health (DOH) is seeking a
Systems Analyst ExpertDay-to-day tasks include, but are not limited to: - Provide regular status updates to management on various projects and keep them abreast of risk, issues and mitigation plans
- Research, and document resolution of requirements, technical design comments, defects and gaps with business and vendor staff
- Evaluate design, development, testing, and confirm that results are consistent with the system or business processes;
- Analyze and revise flow charts, process models and technical specs describing as-is or to-be IT systems or business processes
Requested Qualifications: - 84 months of experience in Information Technology supporting complex software systems or applications.
- 84 months of experience analyzing complex business processes and creating and reviewing test plans.
- 84 months of experience researching, documenting, communicating, and validating requirements throughout the system, process, or product/service development lifecycle for all changes to processes that would enable the organization to achieve its goals.
- 84 months of experience providing written communications to business owners, IT program team members, and management.
- 84 months of experience working with Health Insurance or the Affordable Care Act or Medicaid which includes Eligibility and Enrollment (not Health Care).
- 84 months of experience in researching, reviewing, and evaluating technical specifications for compliance with business objectives and requirements.
- Bachelor's degree
Work hours and location: - Full time role with engagement length of 30 months
- Daily work hours: 8 AM - 4:30 PM
- Physical office location: 150 Broadway, Menands, NY 12204
