Overview
As a Cost Analyst, you will be the go-to person for Army Program Managers in support of large-scale DoD acquisition programs. We are looking for motivated teammates who thrive in fast paced, dynamic settings and can help our customers tackle some of their most pressing challenges.
Responsibilities
- Conduct cost analyses and cost estimates for Life Cycle Cost Estimates, Program Office budgets, Independent Government Estimates, Cost Benefit Analysis, Contract Proposals, and other cost products as requested
- Assist with the development of Cost Analysis Requirement Description (CARD)
- Conduct monthly/quarterly analysis on cost-related CDRLs submitted by industry partners.
- Provide analytical support for program controls and reporting and for financial execution and budgets.
- Coordinate and defend results with and across other organizations (DASA-CE and/or OSD CAPE) and contractors.
Skills Required
- Minimum five (5) years of experience.
- Proficiency in Automated Cost Estimating Integrated Tools (ACEIT).
- Experience estimating software requirements.
- Active Secret level clearance.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Access, PowerPoint, Project)
- ACAT 2 level cost analysis/estimating experience.
- Knowledge of the Adaptive Acquisition Framework pathways.
- Must be able to manage multiple projects at one time.
- Expert ability to research, analyze, and evaluate information.
- Expert ability to express ideas effectively orally and in writing.
Education
Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in math, engineering, business, or the sciences.
