Job Description
Responsible for the management of the Life Safety Program to maintain code compliance as it relates to JCAHO, DOH, NFPA and the local authority having jurisdiction.
Education And Credentials
Equivalent to graduation from an accredited 4 yr college with a major in Fire Service Administration, Fire Protection Admin and technology or engineering and/or CHFM and CFPS certification. Comprehensive knowledge of federal, state, local and JCAHO standards as they apply to health care facilities. Must have a current NY State driver license.
Experience
Minimum of 5 years in management of a Plant Operations Department in a health care setting.
