Marine Project Engineer Responsibilities - Lead ship upgrade projects, including stability booklet updates, vessel modifications, and system upgrades.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, Classification Rules, and regulatory requirements.
- Develop project work packs with clear technical details, material specifications, and certification requirements.
- Manage financial aspects, risk analysis, scheduling, and project controls.
- Coordinate with vendors, review quotations, and oversee shipyard execution phases.
- Supervise project teams and contractors to ensure adherence to company and customer standards.
- Travel internationally (~10%) for shipyard inspections, drydocking, and repairs.
Marine Project Engineer Position Requirements - Bachelor's degree in engineering (or equivalent) with 5+ years of project engineering experience in offshore oil & gas/marine construction.
- LNG-related operations experience preferred.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Office Suite, and scheduling tools like MS Project or Primavera.
- Strong communication, organizational, and multitasking skills.
