Pager Health is looking for a Program Manager to join our diverse and growing product management team. This person will be a key liaison, project leader, and collaborator on the Product Management team, bringing together different departments and business units in scoping, leading, and delivering projects and initiatives.
In this role, the Program Manager will bring together knowledge of project planning, vendor management, and understanding of the product development life cycle to support, lead, and own key department initiatives related to the growth, configuration, and implementation of a rapidly evolving enterprise-scale healthcare platform that helps consumers navigate their entire care journey.
The primary goals in this position would be to ensure that all programs deliver the desirable impact for our organization and delight clients with the highest level of responsiveness, creativity, and rigor with our product department deliverables.
Requirements - Bachelor's degree in relevant field. Technical or Master's Degree, preferred
- 5+ years of experience as a Program Manager, Project Manager, or Implementation manager with good understanding of project/program management techniques and methods
- 5+ years working in product development supporting product and a wide-range of program stakeholders
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with demonstrated ability to communicate to multiple levels of an organization, from executives to frontline staff
- Excellent problem-solving ability and 'can do' attitude
- Excellent knowledge of MS Office
- Working knowledge of program/project management, change management, and Agile methodologies
The following are not required, but will present a strong plus:
- Experience in Healthcare, Wellness, or Health Insurance industries
- Experience in client-facing roles
- Experience with vendor management
- Project Management, Scrum Master, or similar certification
- Experience with project or product management software such as Aha!
- Spanish or Portuguese fluency
Responsibilities - Leading or supporting creation of charters and launch plans
- Aligning internal and external stakeholders on product launches. Work with the product team to understand current/new capabilities, then developing a system to support these capabilities within implementations/configurations
- Delivering regular communications to program stakeholders, including executive summaries, ongoing updates, and risk mitigation reports
- Defining processes and collaborate with Product Operations and Product Management to ensure processes are documented, communicated, and reviewed periodically as needed. Support product PDLC / SDLC / Agile methodology / Atomic Teams and Domains
- Assisting in issue escalation, performance improvement, and change management initiatives
- Assisting in measuring effectiveness of PDLC and identify and lead improvement efforts
- Tracking feature requests and lead effort to communicate development progress to stakeholders
- Leading efforts to track post launch review, report KPIs, and review product fixes and enhancements
- Communicating effectively at different levels for different types of stakeholders without creating confusion
- Ensuring program performance and aim to maximize ROI from product perspective
- Owning vendor program management
- Assess program performance and aim to maximize ROI
- Prepare and present vendor performance summaries and recommendations as it pertains to products and features
- Manage relationships with key vendors to ensure strategic alignment on new developments and innovation
- Acts as a liaison to the vendor for the organization, providing a managed approach for addressable items
Overall responsibilities:

- Provide supporting rationale and be willing to make the hard decisions
- Be proactive, creative, and willing to roll up your sleeves and get things done for clients

For Colorado, Nevada, New York, and Washington DC-based employment: In accordance with the Pay Transparency laws the pay range for this position is $125,000 to $150,000. The compensation package may include stock options, plus a range of medical, dental, vision, financial, generous PTO, stipends for professional development, and wellness benefits. Final compensation for this role will be determined by various factors such as a candidate's relevant work experience, skills, certifications, and geographic location. The range listed only applies to Colorado, Nevada, New York, and Washington DC.
