· Provide wholistic care for patients that extends to the spiritual level by praying with patients and families. Chaplains are available to meet with patients, families and team members 24 hours a day, 7 days a week to provide spiritual support.
· Help develop a brand new $150 million community hospital and medical office building that will provide services such as Emergency Services, Medical/Surgical, ICU, Women’s Services, General Surgery, Orthopedics, Interventional Cardiology and Gastroenterology.

The role you’ll contribute:
Practices as a professional nurse within the limits of the Texas Nurse Practice Act assuming responsibility for coordinating the nursing regimen for all units for a designated shift. Is responsible for decision making regarding the concerns occurring during the assigned shift based upon historical data, current policies/procedures and standards of nursing care. Is responsible for staffing of nursing personnel. Consults with the Vice President for Patient Care Services and other hospital administrative staff as appropriate. Is designated as the hospital authority in the absence of administrative staff. The supervisor utilizes management skills, knowledge and the nursing process to ensure quality of care provided in harmony with the philosophy, goals and policies of the nursing department and hospital administration.
Qualifications
The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed:
- At least 2 years of ER Nursing experience.
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
- Currently licensed to practice as an RN in the State of Texas or Multistate license.
- BLS Certification
- ACLS Certification
